1. How This Site Is Made

Wain's articles are produced with the help of AI. That does not mean the AI writes freely from memory. Every article starts from a research record built by directly checking primary sources — official announcements, press releases, and official documentation — and cross-checking the facts against multiple independent sources. The article text is written using only the facts captured in that research record; we do not write from recollection or guesswork. English articles are produced from the Japanese version, and article thumbnail images are also generated with AI.

2. Verification Process

Before an article is published, we extract the checkable claims in the text — dates, figures, names, company information, technical specifications — one by one and verify each against independent sources and official primary sources. We also check that every link listed in the article's "Sources" section actually resolves, to catch broken or nonexistent URLs.

Any errors found during this process are corrected before publication; claims we cannot fully confirm are either softened in wording or re-sourced to a more reliable reference. We repeat this verification until the confirmed-claim rate reaches a set threshold (90% or higher) with no outstanding errors, before an article goes live. The sources used in this verification are listed at the end of each article under "Sources."

3. Sourcing and Citation Policy

We prioritize primary sources — official announcements, press releases, official documentation, and papers — when researching an article. Secondary sources, such as news outlets, are used only to cross-check facts and as reference links within the article.

• Article text is written in our own structure and words based on verified facts. We do not reproduce, translate, or lightly paraphrase another outlet's writing.
• When a quotation is used, it is kept to the minimum necessary, only where genuinely warranted, clearly set apart from our own text, and attributed to its source (outlet name, article title, and URL).
• We link to sources through ordinary hyperlinks and do not reproduce or redistribute their content without authorization.

4. Correction Policy

If an error is found after publication, we correct the article text and display the update date on the page. We also periodically review older articles to check whether pricing, version numbers, or technical details have become outdated, and update them as needed.

5. Data Page Policy

Our ongoing observatory data pages, such as AI model pricing and specifications, cite a source (an official page URL) and a confirmation date for every value listed. Where a value cannot be confirmed from an official source, we do not fill it in by estimation or back-calculation from other figures — we leave it out rather than publish an unconfirmed number.

Numerical accuracy and clearly stated sourcing are the foundation of these data pages' value.
